No it is infact real, I remember trying it on a computer at work that had Excel 2000.

And Microsoft has been known to include easter eggs in their products for a long time.

There's no PRODUCTIVE REASON for the game, it's an EASTER EGG for cryin' out loud.

BTW, that only works for Excel 2000 n00bs, just like there's a flight sim in Word 97'.
