for old games i like soldier of fortune 2 and IGI 2: convet strike
for very old games i like half life
for very very old games i have liked doom2 and duke nukem 3d

these first person shooter games that i have loved the most through my life

Quake. Oldest and still the best in my opinion. Mostly due to the fact you can manipulate server physics with your .cfg files
