Don't worry over here any delivery item that needs a signature they will not leave. We used to get stuff delivered by City Link to our house every week, the same guy, he knows we want stuff leaving but he is not allowed unless it's official and on the adress or special instructions are left.
Here is my adress for places like ebuyer, so they are allowed to leave the parcels now.

etc
etc
So yeh, that works for me. just put Leave parcel in adress or some sites allow you to add delivery instructions. You may be able to ring them up aswell.
Normally now i just get it delivered to school or my dads work which is open 24/7
