I recently upgraded my TalkTalk broadband to fibre broadband. before the upgrade I was using a TP Link TD-W8970 v3 router (with 3g/4g) because the supplied Huawei router was a bit pants. Everything was fine until I upgraded and now I find the router does not work with the fibre connection. I am using the supplied router (which is much the same as the last one) reluctantly. I have read that a fibre modem is needed, If so what is recommended and/or which modem-routers WILL connect to fibre?.
