Slow speeds through TP link switch

Hi,

I recently purchased the TP link switch and Deco X50 POE and ran Cat 6 cables throughout the whole house. I have a BT router with internet speeds of 500mb.

I get wifi speeds of 500mb from the router but once I connect through the speed I get maximum speed of 9mb. It’s the same if I connect the Deco unit or plug directly into the switch.

Anyone got any ideas why this might and what I need to do to improve?

What model is the TP-Link switch?

I ended up changing the switch to the 16 port switch and now getting 500mb around the house. Definitely a dodgy switch before
