hey guys, i recently bought a geforce 6800ultra 256mb, these things require 2 molex connectors, umm my power supply is only single rail and its worked great so far, i would only have an amd 64 2800, a couple fans on 5v, 2 cdroms, and one ide harddrive, will you think that will be ok?? its a total of 500watts and puts 18A to one 12v, and 16 to the other, which should i use for the graphics?

also i had considered just popping an old PSU in there as a dedicated psu for the 6800, just wanted to get your guys's take on this...

thanks in advance!

Nah dude 500W is fine, and the 6800 can't use that much power, its not that hefty of a card.

Yeah, 500 watts is more than enough for a 6800GT. I have a 550 watt PSU, it runs an overclock 7600GT or an X1800XT with no problems.
