Difficulty w/ TV PC

I use win7 media center as a DVR to record a replay my few TV programs.

I recently cloned a working OS off my TVPCs SSD. The result was transfer of source disk successfully transferred to target disk however I think my source disk was ruined or parts of it are unuseable after cloning.

1st frame work I was forced to install was v4.0.30319 which wasn’t blocked.


The problem is installing Net framework 4.6.2 back on win7. this framework is required to install another program EPG123 an playready.


Having blocking issue.



Can’t seam to install 4.62 net framework which was installed prior to cloning.

here's the files I need downloaded for W7MC to work properly. which was working properly before the cloning of this drive.

playready is a installed program but won't work w/out this framework crapola.

Are you currently running SP1?

yes I believe running SP1.can't remember how to verify.
I look at windows features turn on/off an see orginal OS HDD has NET Framework 3.5.1

I cloned a working win7MC same 64bit OS from my LT same era as TVPC actuely purchased both at same time an the TV PC won't boot from it. it gets to starting windows for about 2 seconds then black screen.

So you might want to install .Net 4.0 first

Also I would do a "Clean Start" of EPG123 just in case your imaged version from a different pc is corrupted

I don’t recall the Prepare Clean WMC Database​

I’ve been trying to install/run EPG123 setup.



I’ve tried installing the EPG123 both ways on W7MC w/ internet always on an w/ it off didn’t make any difference. I’ll try again.

I believe the problem is properly installing playready.

Weird that the LT I cloned which has a working W7MC didn’t boot up the TVPC?

This tells you how to check to see if you have SP1 for Windows 7 x86 and X64 versions. Carefully read everything before to download and install
