Don't push it, 60C is pushing it. They're rated to only be good up until that point, in other words, that's the breaking point for these procs.
Stock cooling for intel BLOWS. I never even took mine out of the box and went stright to water cooling. With my new WC set up I'm hoping to push 3.6 GHz from 2.6 on my E6600.
You sound like you want to clock, and clock fast! The only way is water cooling.. Budget wise that is My next project will be a phase change system to get my proc running at negative temps, which would just be uber 1337.
So suming it up, push it any further and you're risking it. But that thing has a low multiplier and has more potential, with a much better cooling option that is.
