Hey guys,

I'm trying to install windows 7 on a machine with no OS, but on startup the boot manager comes up with the error boot/BCD 0x000000e. Same thing happens with an XP installation disc. XP was the original OS on the machine. I've looked around for ideas, but most solutions require using the installation discs to do a repair.

I can run Ubuntu via USB, but nothing windows related seems to work.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Sounds like a Memory Issue to me. Why does this machine have no OS now if it came with XP? Are you sure that it is even Win7 compatible?
