Win 10 very slow startup

I upgraded my win7pro to win10pro over the weekend.
It is running great BUT it takes 4 minutes to start and sometimes it gets stuck and i have to force shutdown and restart.

I have gone through all the usual tips for quicker startup with no change. I have gone through start-up repair and none of the options change anything. Low resolution, safe mode, etc they all take the same ~4 minutes.

I installed windows ADK and ran the "Startup, Shutdown experience" and it would shut down my system and then when i restarted and it finished booting it would crash. I finally had to boot into safe mode and delete the ADK files so i could boot normally.

Is there anything else i can do before reinstalling ? any program that can tell me what issues to look into ?

Some info about your pc might help. (brand name & model number) Also how old and what version of Windows 10 pro are you trying to use? Are you using more than one hard drive and is this a clean install from a formatted hard drive or did you install this from your Windows 7 pro operating system?

Low disk space is usually the most common problem. If your hard disk is nearly full, your system may run slowly. Consider removing unused files and applications, or upgrading to a bigger hard drive.

I've tried the win 7 to win 10 upgrade a couple of times and it has always ended badly. When you have spent hours and hours trying the suggested cures above just back up all your personal files on to a seperate harddrive/flash drive, which is something you should be doing anyway, then do a clean install of Win 10. You can get an ISO from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 which will make a bootable installation USB flash drive or a bootable DVD.

Windows 10 no longer fits on a 4.7gb dvd disk....gotta use a USB drive

If it doesn’t work, try a full system install again. There are always reddit windows keys available for a clean install. This will delete all of your files and applications, so create a backup of any critical data before starting. If you've just installed new hardware to your system, this might be the source of the delayed starting.

i updated a few drivers and i think the system is pretty fast now considering its age.

If you stop Razer Synapse from running in the start up list you may get a better boot time. This might be a possible fix for Razer Synapse taking up too much time

I will take a look at those links but ....

I think no matter what Startup Timer list, it adds up to 100%

I have disabled razer and it made no noticeable difference, or at least it did not change the timer result.
