Switch problem

I have a 5-port switch, and i want to connect 2 computers to the internet using a same broadband account.
the switch is connected to an ADSL modem.
however, when one computer is connected to the internet, another computer is not allowed, showing an error of Username and Password.
so any method to solve this problem?

Are you using PPPOE? If so are you using internet sharing? What you may want to consider is getting a DSL router the logs on to the PPPOE most have 4 ports. Than the router will connect when needed for both computers as needed.

So can i try the following way?

Connect a PC to the modem, then from the PC connect to the switch, whilke others PC will have to connect to the switch. then using the Internet Sharing Connection, so that all PC can connect to the Internet.

but for this way, the main interface PC need to have 2 Network Interface Cards.

do you mean that i just need a NIC on the main computer?
but how do i connect to modem and the switch on the same time?
