and he had me do this to his computer a few years ago. my problem is something different. m-audio won't sync it's control to to windows, like all of the other sound card makers do. it not really a problem with a regular version of xp(as it basically have only one volume panel anyway), but it gives media center fits.
If I could find somebody who only make m-audio drivers with that control panel. like a few people out there have made drivers for creative
