RAM Trouble

HELP!!!

I disabled shared memory in BIOS. And my computer doesn't turn on.. I tried to clear CMOS with jumper. But it still doesn't working.
When i turn on my computer it is peeping all the time and there are no video.
HOW I CAN REPAIR IT?


My COMPUTER:
Mainboard K7SOM with integrated video SIS 650/740
Duron 1200mhz 256MB RAM

Assuming that u have no AGP card n' only integrated graphics ...
Try reseating the memory modules(RAM).

it's peeping all the time.
I tried to put another video card but it still doesn't working

actualy it peeps 8 times then short pause and then peeps another 8 times and that all the time

It wouldn't beep even if it was a problem with ur integrated video

Did u try reseating the memory ??

Also if u have more than one module of ram ...then try using one at a time ..
Finally ..did u see what the beep codes stand for in ur mobo's manuals

I'm using one module of ram. now i put it in another socket but no result..

i found what means 8 Beeps:
Display memory read/write failure
Explanation: The BIOS is unable to write to the frame buffer memory on the video card.
What can i do?

From what i understand of ur previous posts ... U disabled the shared memory for the display .. which explains the beep count.

The only possible solution would be is to clear the bios .. BUt u say that u've already tried that.

I would suggest ..that u try clearing the bios again. U could use the CMOS clear junmper or just take the battery off for a while.
