Question for Small Software Teams/Firms/Groups

What are the main problems facing you guys when you are trying to find and secure contracts/jobs? Is it oftentimes a challenge to find jobs or contracts? How do you currently go about doing this?

I don't do contracts. I'm too old for the insecurity of all that. I find a decent job and stay with it. I went through a few lemons before I landed on my current position but they pay me enough to want to stay.
