I got a ASUS motherboard M3N72-D, I can't find in the documentation what kind of slot it is for sure I assumed it was a 1.0 it does say in the book.
"Supports PCIe 2.0/1.0 architecture"
This motherboard was a pretty high end model when I bought it new about 1.5 years ago. I'd love to be able to buy this 2.1 card I've been eyeballing in a few months, but I need to make sure I don't buy the wrong card lol.
Edit: Ahh update, I found in the documentation where it says that they are "PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots", there are two. I assume the 2.0 slot works fine with a 2.1 card. Could I get some confirmation, 500 dollars is alot of money to sink into a new video card.
