One of my snakes just died.

It was Mansanita. He was 11 yrs old. He died of a muscle problem. He was 4ft long and very beautiful. He was a Boa Constrictor.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost a Burmese I had for many years, and it's very painful. Keep on truckin, all will be well again.

Thanks Ecniv, he was one of three. the oldest is 33 yrs old. and the youngest is 8 yrs old.

wow... you know your creeping up on the oldest know boa record?

Guiness book of workd records says that the oldest boa ever recorded was 44 or something.

i know, for a while it was 29 yrs, but we didn't have his birth certicicate to prove his age.

just got a exact age for the oldest: he was born in Dec. 1967, so he is 35 yrs old

he was just acting very strange, he was very cold, and we put a heater right next to his tank and he moved closer to it!
