Make 2 PCs into 1?

Is there any software for windows that will allow you to make a second PC act as another monitor for the first? (Like multiple monitors?)

I would like to use the display off my laptop to extend my desktop from my main machine...

I know, it's probably a lot easier to get another video card and monitor, just curious if it was possible to get the same results with two computers.

You have to have a vid card with input/output, I think the software for doing this is built into XP. Not sure how to do it, though. Try searching around Google.com, or Microsoft's site.
