eli dies at the end of episode 2 i got quite sad because gordon has known eli throughout the series and also when eli has a quite word with gordon alone he thinks of gordon as his son and praises gordon for all his work

also what is the G MAN what does he do

G-Man is likely to be someone of a much larger, hidden organization with an outside agenda of destroying the Combine or something. He is NOT Gordon from the future... I think of him as like... an angel, a Watcher. (Not the white ones with wings, we're talking the badass messengers of God).

He can somehow exist outside of space/time, and can manipulate things. He seems to me like a fallen angel or something of that type. (The characteristics, thereof) He's powerful, untouchable, and obviously working for a higher agenda.
