Freezing with WOW

no it doesnt have any errors with both games, but with world of warcraft it freezes, and COD the installation stall and doesnt go anywhere and nothing pops up and doesnt freeze.
i have 3/4 a gig that should be enough ram, i think i might reformat, that might be the problem because i think windows didnt install correctly or something, but someone tell me if i shouldnt.

one more thing, the first time i installed windows, COD2 could go on it fine, but then after i reformated it didnt work

this is really weird, i reformated, then tried installing WOW didnt work, i installed graphics drivers,restarted, didnt work, then i restarted again, tried installing COD that worked, then after i tried installing WOW and it worked fine

all i have to say is wtf
