Are these compatible?

I have a dell pc and it has the regular Soundmax integrated audio installed on it. I wanted to get Logitech 5.1 x-530 speakers, but I don't know if they will work with my pc. Will they work, and if they don't do I just need to get a new sound card? Thanks.

well whats ur sound card look like. is there like a green, orange, and black input?

My sound panel in the back has these 3 things.

red/pink). has a microphone symbol
green). has my current a215 dell speakers plugged into
blue). symbol (( with a line through it.


Thats all it has. And BTW, this panel where these ports are located, is NOT where the pci cards are located, so im guessing its not a 5.1 compatible.

it doesnt seem compatible but if you want it to be and dont wanna spend the extra money for a decent sound card i suggest doing this

and if you dont have one a rca to 1/8 cable to plug into your green input. probably can find it at radio shack for like 2 or 3 bucks
