Did y'all have a good xmas ?

Got me a Sous Vide heater/tool thingy, and the black milanese loop Apple Watch strap. A few other small gifts too.

We have a nice carvery meal at a local pub. Good food and generous portions actually.

Got some cognac and a couple small bits/tshirt, I wasn't expecting anything really so I'm happy glad it was a much more toned-down chrissy this time, mainly just show up for lunch with some food and eat as much as you can xD now thats my kinda xmas

It was pretty laid back here this year as well. Everyone came to our house. We had decided to do finger foods so everyone brought their specialties (or whatever they felt like making). I did a spiral sliced ham in the slow cooker, those wonton ranch cups that I make and everyone loves, chess bars, and a dump cake. My mom brought an apple stack cake (if you don't know what that is then google it, it is amazing). Our daughter brought a party mix that was killer. My sister-in-law brought sausage balls and pigs in a blanket. My mother-in-law make a pot of Velveeta dip.

I got a couple of cards and a $50 Amazon gift card, and got to order myself a new office chair. The moms (mine and hers) made out pretty well. The grandkids needed a couple of wheelbarrows to cart out their haul.

Well, my sorry *** has been drunk all Christmas and I'm still going. Got another crate to start and finish in the fridge.

But also, as somewhat of a quick thought. Anyone else noticed that all the major porn sites turn christmasie over the festive period. People just love the good stuff.

Christmas started off pretty piss poor, but ended on a real good note. Met my girl's real dad and step mom. That turned out real great, and then we went to my mom's and she met my family.

She got me Super Smash Bros on Switch for Christmas, my mom made me a new blanket, my sister got me a bunch of spiritual stuff, but the best gift for me was a magnet pick up thing with a light on the end. Seriously, mine just broke last week but this one has a freakin bright *** LED light on it. Perfect!

Oh! And, I popped the question Christmas Eve. She said yes. So I'm engaged.

I also had a very chill Christmas with my girlfriend Abi; didn't get to talk to Naomi much as she and her Mum wanted a quiet Christmas together, as her Mum doesn't have anyone else.

Got some neat presents, including the Skyrim book collection (a hard copy of every book you can find in Skyrim), a Final Space t-shirt (choooookity...), and a model of the U.S.S. Prometheus.

Christmas eve, fiance's mom and uncle came over and we had ham that we made; exchanged gifts. I also put together our arcade cabinet and got it setup with my RPi. I got a couple shirts, an Alien mug, Alien keychain, CAH holiday booster pack, and a giftcard to an ATV/Motorcycle place in town so I can take my motorcycle in and get my tire changed / brakes replaced. The 9-y/o got a bunch of stuff from his grandma (couple Lego sets he wanted, a drone, and a bunch of little stuff). Got my fiance a canvas portrait of the three of us. Christmas day we went down to my parents' place and had lunch, opened some more presents, and then came back home.

Random question. You know when you get devices that are '50 meter water resistant', does that mean "If you drop it in the sink, don't worry", or can I literally wear this swimming, in the shower, etc, and not need to think twice? Because my parents bought me a Fitbit Charge 3, and i'm still terrified of having it near water
