A friend of mine directed me to this site Bitdefender.com ... and there is a fairly simple but effective tool with instructions for removing the worm and repairing your os on this
page / There are other free fixs/ removal tools for other viruses as well . As this has been a big problem everywhere lately I thought I would post this as an option some may not have known about.. good luck
