Windows XP SP1 patch for Outlook Express

I installed Windows XP SP1 and Outlook Express now deletes any attachments it doesn't like, same as Outlook does. I think there is a patch for Outlook but I can't find one for Outlook Express, maybe because ir just started this foolishness.

Anyone know of a patch or a work around? If I can't find one, I can always remove SP1.

Hi,
Have you tried un-checking * Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentionally be a virus * ?
Just a suggestion.
Look in .. Tools .. Options .. Security.
