I've heard so much conflicting data that I can't figure anything out. It seems like it should be a pretty clear question, but nothing give a black or white answer.
I've only got one phone line in my house and it just happens to be in a place that is pretty much inpossible (without thousands of dollars and dozens of manhours) to run a 2nd wire to my office. So currently I use a wireless phone jacks to have other phone jacks throughout my home. I'm thinking about switching from Cable to DSL but my real only option is to use one of those higher quality "wireless modem phone jacks" they sell. Do these things not work with DSL? Or do they work but affect the speed of the connection depending on how far away they are or just plain affect the speed of the connection whether next to the phone jack or not? Does anyone know? Thanks.
