Should I use AMP for news site?

Hey fellow members, I am working on growing a news site, I have been researching all of my competitors, almost none of them use AMP, but all videos or tutorials that I go through suggests AMP for a news site, should I continue using AMP or turn it off? Also I am hyperlinking my tech news site here, it would be really nice for any expert to drop a review and suggest something I could work towards
