I am looking for a solution that might easily be about permissions.
Is it possible to have shared folder together with a redirected folder on the server and still allow users to have access to the shared folder? Allow me to explain;
I redirected the 'users' folder to allow them sync the desktop and documents folder. Within the same Quota, I created a shared folder to allow users a central resource where they could share their 'projects'. Once done i shared the main partition of the drive and gave permission to all group users. The problem comes in when I have to limit other folders to specific users such as finance. The user can access the folder but does not have the write permission to create folders/files.
I am open to explain further or attach pics and would appreciate advise on this for someone that done it before/differently
