Search Companion missing?

Hi there ...

Whenever i attempt to do a search ... the Search Companion missing error will come out ...

But sometimes it becomes normal again ... do i really need to reinstall? will updating to XP SP1 help? i am using XP Pro ...

I think you'll need to reinstall XP-Pro. Sp-1 I'm pretty sure..does not add anything to the help index that would fix your problem. I didn't see anything on the SP-1 bug fixs...anyway. Sounds like you have a corrupt file somewere.

but how am i going to backup the ICQ history, Yahoo! Offline messages, FIFA files ...

i don't know where they are located ... and i think i may missed something essential as i back them up ...
