This is nothing new mac's can an are vunerable to malware, it jsut hasn't been common in the past. Apple eve retracted its I am safe stuff recently.

Side note worlds first computer virus was called Elk Cloner and it was for the mac.

Wouldn't make a small repair shops life easier, that is for sure, it would become ****.

True, then they have to get certified in Apple so the shops can do the repair. Probably make more money as well.
