Question Internet explorer

Hello. Can someone tell me how I can 'simply' check for what version of internet explorer I am using. Seems to be impossible.

I have an older machine..any suggestions what version of explorer I should download? 1GB ram 120 hd I think.

Top-Right Corner of toolbar > If you see buttons that say "Page", "Tools", etc... and then a double arrow (>>), click the double arrow, and then go to Help or About. Should pop up what version.

If you don't have "Page" or "Tools", but instead of a gear icon, click that and then go down to About Internet Explorer.

Open internet explorer and then open help menu. and then select About internet explorer then a window will open up and show you which version you have.

Bring up About Internet Explorer.
