PS3 Pricetag?

Does anyone know if they have released a price for the PS3 yet? Of course I've heard it might not get released for quite some time due to issues. Just wondering what they will be going for.

So I guess I better start saving now. Wow, either a brave move or stupid move to break that price point.

I've been reading that if Sony ends up making a complete emulator, either the launching consoles or consoles soon after will drop slightly in price because it will end up making including the ps2 hardware in it unessecary.

But... I doubt it will happen at launch because this is Sony we are talking about.
