The first thing I would try is to re-install windows 10 if you are running windows 8 you can install windows 10 like windows 8 just ignore the windows 8 part as you can use windows 8 product keys with windows 10

A few days ago I turned on my laptop HP Pavilion 15-n257eo G2A76EA and to be messages: preparing automatic repair; diagnosing your PC; attempting repairs; automatic repair couldn't repair PC.
What should I do ?
If you have another computer that you can use it would be prudent to pull the hard drive out of the HP and connect it via a dock to the other computer and copy off any files, documents, pictures that you want to save. From there you can format/wipe the drive, reinstall into the HP, and THEN reinstall Windows.

As Techno said, you can use your Win8 license to install Win10. Click here to see how easy it is to create a bootable USB drive to install Windows 10, plus it is free (except for the USB drive, of course, as you have to provide it).
