Fairplay @ 6:49AM--->.I meant you.... LOL and the post was directed at the person that claimed he had 1TB RAM in his home machine. The average single server in a datacenter averages to 12GB RAM!!!! an average cluster is 256GB RAM for a private cloud. a big public cloud or special cloud could have a total pool of 512GB+!!!! How in the world he can make some claims unless he has a private cloud server in his office that runs on vmware cloud, a cisco or F5 load balancer, vmware vsphere and an SAN. That would be a ****** system to have at home.
You could go another route with a supermicro blade chassis with 12X24corex4 opteron or xeon blades with 128GB RAM and an EMC SAN. That could be considered "one system" ha ha!
if not then he's hittin somethin serious.
She's just talking about enterprise class computing hardware. If you are trying to confuse us all with your apparent proficiency in that realm of computing, you are succeeding. But then you could be ********ting and i couldn't spot the difference.
When i say all, i mean me. I am sure a lot of people on here understand what a F5 Load balancer and vsphere is. The most i ever used VMWare for was to run OS X to upgrade my iphone software.
Who needs local porn when you HAVE the internet?Got my NAS up and running. 5.3 TB of space for internet pr0n!
I remember one time I started talking to the driving instructor during driver's ed, we got on the topic of computers and he said his computer had a terabyte of RAM. I was like "Wait, how the... Are you sure you have a terabyte?! That's 1000 gigabytes of RAM! What kind of computer do you have? Is it a server?!"
Indeed. The field is mathematics, not mathematic.*Cough* *Cough* it's MathS
Nice solution. The most i ever used VMWare for was to run OS X to upgrade my iphone software.
