i deleted a partition in windows xp. Now I realize that there were several digital images that i wanted. Is there any way to recover those files???

sheesh......thats not good.LOL. correct me if im wrong,...but once a partition is deleted,...then thats it. what size is your primary partition after you've deleted the partition you mentioned?

You cant try using a partition recovery software like

Chances are slim though.

or try the windows recovery console. It MAY still be able to recover lost files with the RD command.

Yes, I must agree with the others.

Once you have formatted and partition, there is a very and I mean very slim chance that you may recover the files. It only came out once out of the countless times I have tried and forgotten something.

I Concur with all of the aforementioned steps suggested above. If it is really important you can always send it to a recovery specialist, (although very expensive for a few digital images)
