i upgrade whenever i get the chance and have the spare cash
im finishing my new build with the next 2 paychecks

I work at two jobs:

Here and Future Shop

I work at Future Shop 20 hours/week, and here for the rest of the time.

I upgrade my computer once a year. Last upgrade was 512MB RAM and a DVD burner, July 05. Soon, i'll get 1GB RAM and an LCD monitor (July 06)

I work ~40 hours/week assembling and testing computer systems, and when I'm not doing that, it's technical writing (basically writing manuals and documentation).

Last time I upgraded my machine? Let me just say that I'm just running NT 3.51 WS on my notebook, to get by.

Technically, I work 24/7, but typically I work from 6:30 (Physical Training) to 4:00 or 5:00. I'm an automations specialist (Tech SUpport, Networker, Administrator, pretty much anything related to computers) with a secondary job as radio repairer and operator.

I get payed $1100 a month, after taxes. Free housing, food, health and life insurance.

Last time I upgraded... never. Left my dasktop at home with my brother and my laptop is still stock. Have to get a car before a computer, so my dream desktop is still a bit off from now.

Hopefully, I'll upgrade every 6 monthes once I do.

United States National Guard...shipping for basic August 22nd, won't be back until two days before xmas. $1300 month (lot of kickers) /20k sign on bonus. I'm in Supply and Inventory.

And FadingTheory is a VERY bad-*** man.

last upgrade: Nov 2001 (and it still runs anything that doesnt need Pixel Shader 1.4 - ohyeah!)
