It's a processor... unless theres some new instruction set like SSE4, then it's just a speed bump.

That whole flash memory to-boot thing is handled by the chipset.

There will be 3 "Powermac" versions, two which will utilize the two fastest versions of Conroe, and the fastest "Powermac" will feature the fastest Kentsfield chip.

Hopefully they throw in some good GPU's this time around too ...

I get the feeling Apple won't go for SLi or Crossfire, just seems like something they wouldn't be into.

But that does make sense about the processors. Hopefully they will release black iMacs with the Powermacs.
