New xbox 360 owner.. good racing game?

i'm gonna agree with Mak that Blur is pretty online oriented, even though i only played the demo, i stayed up a few nights playing in 20 player lobbys, very fun.

i wouldn't suggest pgr for online (because nobody plays it anymore) or single player. it would take my vote for boring game though...

i would personally suggest nfs shift or hot pursuit. shift is sort of like a racing sim with just enough arcade in it. hot pursuit is more arcade-y, but that's not a con by any means, it's just as good in its own way.

i don't like forza though. i didn't like going from the road feel, blur effect and cockpit view from nfs shift to forza which doesn't have that.
