I am moving house. I have a bar fridge. Apart from turning it off and unplugging it, is there any thing else i need to do?

I did have some one comment to me that after moving the fridge, I should not turn it on for at least 3 hours, otherwise the Freon Gases can get a little unhappy. Is that true?

ORLY. Reason I did not know this is because this is the first fridge I have owned and when I purchased it, it sate up in my appartment in it's box for a few days before i got around to using it.

The link claims 24 for a BIg fridge.. So if you can do 24hrs that'd be safest, but as its small, and if you do it quickly, over night would be fine.

Your savior is its small so no \alot of refridgerant.

At the rate in whcih I am moving things, it will be most likely a few days before i will be needing it again.
