hola! i am in the process of attempting to learn some Linux. i've just created a kubuntu cd hopeing i would be able to at least get in up and running... surprise! i pop in the cd, fire up the machine, and am greeted with the following. [17179571.956000] Kernal panic - not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with the 'noapic' option [17179571.95600]
