I would say have someone that knows what they're doing build one for you. That's what I did and now I have learned enough through upgrading it that I can build my own.

No I meant as far as a mainstream company.

Ex. Toshiba, Gateway, Compaq, HP, Dell, Sony, EMachines, etc.

I just wanted to see what companies you guys would go with as "last resort" if for some reason you just flat out were UNABLE to buy parts to build your own pc.
