Hello,

I have a computer that I purchased in 2003 and it's now decommissioned. I'm looking into selling it for parts. Is there any online source where I can enter chip info and get the market value so that I know how much to sell it for? And also, where would be a good place to sell it?

Thank you.

2003?
I do not think you'll find a market for anything of that vintage year.
Possibly you might be able to donate it to a museum?
I've got an old IBM pc and I was considering to gut it out and put new up to date parts in it just for kicks. It will need some modifications though, but I do have a dremel, tin snips and a hacksaw and I'm not afraid to use them.

Not sure about your computer component's market value, but you can try Ebay, Craigslist or facebook marketplace to assess the value of your pc's components.

You can also check Craig's list or put them up there. But be warned Craig's list as well as most locations and sites for selling small personal or small electronics' has a ton of Scammers and Nefarious people. So you gotta be super specific of the arrangement and careful.
