help plz

Hey, i was wondering if someone could help me out here. My computer works normally when i'm using applications such as word or excel, but when i try to play a game that uses java for example, or play any type of video it lags. Anybody know what could be wrong with my computer and how i could perhaps fix it? Note: i all rdy scanned my pc for anything unusual.

What type of graphics are you using, card or onboard? What is running in the background?

hmmm i'm using a card and i dun have any applications running in the background

start>run>msconfig>startup tab>uncheck stuff you dont need
might help a little, not sure tho

Do you have updated drivers? Is your PSU up to snuff to power your GFX card?
