what is arduino hacking?

is it like normal hacking?

does it use c++?

anything else i need to know?

can someone break down the circuit board/motherboard looking thing, arduino uno or due or whatever it is?

"Hacking" the Arduino, used in the sense of the article, just means modifying it. Either adding in your custom code, custom hardware, etc.

Never programmed an Arduino myself, and I haven't used C++ in many years.

Honestly, best thing to do would be to go on Arduino's site, and go through some of the tutorials they have on there (I believe they have some...if not, there's tons of resources online for beginners). Mostly just depends on what you exactly what to make / do with it. And what Arduino you have (since there's several different types with many different hardware interfaces).
