GeForce 1050 Ti boot loop?

Recently upgraded from an AMD Radeon HD to GIGABYTE GeForce 1050 Ti and after using DDU to remove old AMD drivers clean install NVIDIA drivers (old and new (I've tried everything)) I am having trouble booting. I can get past the BIOS screen but not much further (in non-safe mode). I've even tried updating my motherboard chipset and still nothing (mobo is gigabyte ga-p67a-d3-b3) and I checked compatibility on pchound prior to purchasing the card and it said it should be fine, but am having the above issues, since the card is non-refundable from frys electronics im in need of someone's help! Thanks

Yes it boots in safe mode, and i just thought of this- since the card doesn't have a 6pin power connecter does my motherboard not have enough voltage to power it? I have an i5 processor if that affects it in any way

If it was a power issue you wouldn't notice until you put a load on the card. I was asking about booting normal without drivers.

It boots fine after using DDU to remove nvidia drivers

So then there's a problem after Nvidia driver is initiated. You're downloading the correct driver, right?

Yes lol, for the GeForce GTX 1050Ti

Yes I believe so, at one point I tried using the actual NVIDIA driver installer program and wouldn't that detect that it's 64bit?
