I only have four 4-pin molex connectors on my PSU, and the wires are quite short. My dad used to have a bunch of old crappy computers (like very old) and they had good PSU's in them. So, I took all the PSU's apart and stole the fans out, then cut all the wires off and stuffed them in a box. Since I know I'll never use 100 - 150w PSU's, who cares right?
So, I have one wire that's got three 4-pin molex connectors on it.
My question is, if I cut the wires to one of the 4-pin molex connectors on my PSU, and then, using some of these, splice the wire I have onto the existing lines, will I have any problems? I don't want to like drain power from anything..that won't happen, right?
