DSi charges but won't turn on

Hi, I recently purchased a DSi that will charge, but it won't power up. Does anyone know what might be causing these symptoms? The orange charge light comes on no problem, but when I press the power button, nothing happens, the screens don't blink like they would if there was a loose connection.

Isn't there a warranty?

You could at least trade it in for a functioning one
