How does this sound (and how is alienware? are they still good?)
Graphics:
768MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8800 GTX
Power Supply:
Alienware® 1000 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply
Processor:
Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz 8MB Cache 1066MHz FSB
(or:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz 4MB Cache 1333MHz FSB
)
Memory:
4GB DDR2 Performance SDRAM at 800MHz - 4 x 1024MB
Motherboard:
NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI Motherboard
Hard Drive:
250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/ 16MB Cache
Monitor:
20" Dell 1600 x 1050 UltraSharp Widescreen Flat Panel
Extras:
Killer K1 Gaming Network Interface Card
Alienware® Standard System Cooling
------------
Wondering about?
AlienAdrenaline v1.0: Video Performance Optimizer
Ageia PhysX PCI-Express Processing Unit w/ 128MB GDDR3
"2GB Low Latency DDR2 Performance SDRAM at 800MHz - 2 x 1024MB"
Questions:
I understand that you guys are down on SLI... so it seems better to stick with a single card, assuming that's a good one. No?
Is the monitor decent? They charge $300 for it. Better one out there for around that price?
Which processor to go with? options listed about.
Is Alienware a sound company to go with?
