Hello so I see 1 Blu-Ray player that has a Type-C however it turns out its just another adaptor!

Im trying to work out as I would like a external Blu-ray player that can be used with USB 3.0 and above (bluray end) to USB Type-C cable (laptop) and preferably runs of USB power only.

I have read there can be power issues providing too much or less!

So

1. As long as my cables meet the USB Type-Câ„¢ Cable and Connector Specification. Will this be ok for any external blu-ray player?

2. If not what information or any known such players that are USB-C compatible (if this helps its a 45 W USB Type-Câ„¢ adapter)
