cannot view image

Hi, I am trying to view an image on old-maps.co.uk and can only see a red cross in the top left hand corner. I have checked on internet options - advanced and the show pictures box is checked...any ideas

Hmmm....I have had this problem before...But only on some websites...It's a long shot but try right clicking on the cross and clicking "show picture".
You could also try another browser...

some times this plays in the factor....alot of web sites are running flash icons....so if your flash player on your computer is'nt up to date:

then all your gunna see on the web page is a white box w/an red x in it....

to solve this problem, just download the newest flash player....you can get one :
