i hadd an extra 150 gb on my hard drive and i cecided to install XP Media Center edition on it. I created a partition E and went through with installing. I then got a message during the XP installation asking for my CD key, but i didn't have one because i thought it asked for it lated after everything was installed. so i restarted and deleted the partition i just made hoping i can just boot off of C, but that didnt work. now when i boot i get this message:
"Windows could not start because of a computer disck hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check the boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."
what does this mean and what can i do to fix it?
