It's mainly because when the TRUE is not lapped, it performs terribly. I gained at least 5c when I lapped mine. Xig's base is pretty flat to begin with and doesn't gain much from lapping.

Meh, Frostytech reviews. They don't use the same fan across tests. They don't even know the ratings on the fan they used for the TRUE. They also don't use an actual CPU in their reviews.

I read both articles and it seems they used different fans for each test, which doesn't make much sense to me. They don't know the rating on the fan they used on the TRUE If I remember correctly.
